China Selling Weapons to Sudan
The BBC today published photographs of Chinese-made military vehicles under the control of the Sudanese military (story here). The pictures offer overwhelming proof of China’s military dealings with the Sudanese government, illegal under UN law due to Sudan’s widespread human rights abuses in Darfur. Despite evidence to the contrary, the Chinese government insist the vehicles are completely free of lead-based paints.
